Opening Routes on Orbital Outpost
Orbital Outpost punishes indecision. Start every round by clearing the left-side diagnostics cluster because it contains the highest concentration of long tasks. Finishing them early means you are near security systems when the first sabotage hits, giving you both vision and leverage.
If a swap occurs mid-route, break the instinct to sprint back to spawn. Instead, check your proximity to vent networks and camera coverage. Smart crewmates reroute to the nearest visual task so they can quickly verify innocence after the switch.
Handling Vertical Layouts on Nebula Dock
Nebula Dock's vertical elevator splits the lobby into top and bottom clusters. Assign two crewmates to mirror each other on opposite sides, reporting elevator usage whenever the doors open. If a swap triggers while someone rides the lift, treat them as temporarily blinded and bodyguard them until they regain position.
Engineers should prioritize wiring stacks that connect both halves of the map. Completing those first reduces future travel time and lowers the number of exposed corridors players must cross during late-game sabotages.
Route Discipline in Public Lobbies
Solo queue requires defensive routing. Favor clusters of short tasks so you always have a reason to remain in sight of other players. When a swap shuffles roles, voice your remaining tasks immediately; giving the lobby a clear picture reduces suspicion and helps the group finish objectives faster.
Avoid doubling back through recently cleared rooms unless a sabotage demands it. Impostors rely on crewmates retracing steps in panic; maintaining forward momentum forces them to expose themselves or waste sabotages stalling you.
